DIGITAL IS MUST BUT TRADITIONAL RULES

Quite a lot we hear its all DIGITAL everywhere and when it comes to PR the last and deepest cut is Digital, where a brand prefers digital over the traditional. However, this is also true digital rides on Traditional Media,  a fact could be very well watched "ALL DIGITAL ARE LIVE ONLY IF THEY ARE VISIBLE ON PRINT"  A one full page Print Advertisement of any ecommerce company or for a matter any app based startup gets multi fold calls  and inquiries or if we say digitally HITS and the brand gets a boost. However, the finest contribution of traditional media ie that advertisement which prompted millions among the billions to go and inquire digitally get lost in the process.

Now we come to PR . Public Relations, can we mark a thin line in between the Traditional vs new media, the answers is BIG NO. The traditional media makes a ground for any brand to flourish, then comes digital or online tactics where the objective is to get people to the platform. Here, you can not underestimate the power of traditional press   especially in country like India which is divided  by languages and  customs at every 15 kilometer. 

In the digital wave in India what is lacking, the mechanism which can clearly identify the sought after medium of information. The large chunk of internet users are not bothered about the data filtration what they tend to believe is what they see first on their mobile and computer screen.  so next time what you see on your computer or mobile screen it is not necessary the news and fact do check it with the most sought after resource ie your Newspaper.
